Then details started to trickle through... Craig Mazin, creator of Chernobyl and acclaimed screenwriter was partnering up with original game creator Neil Druckmann. CHECK!

Game of Thrones alumni Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsay were cast in the title roles - CHECK!

The signs were good - but would the series be? Answer - YES!

A worldwide sigh of relief from viewers, creators and gamers alike could be felt - as the series is now already considered a classic.
