About The Last Season in Nepal
From the publisher's feed
Join Dr Tessa Coulson on a three month adventure to rescue posts in the Everest region. Bring your thermal underwear, and toothpaste.
Tess is a family doctor who took a once in a lifetime opportunity to travel to Nepal to work as a medic. She has taken a microphone (you) with her. Sending back audio diary entries whilst journeying from Manchester UK, via Kathmandu, Tess’s destinations are rescue posts in the Everest region at Machhermo and Gokyo.
Treating trekkers and porters at altitude, join Tess and experience living in a sub-zero sleeping bag in some of the most beautiful landscapes on the planet.

Thanks immeasurably to our executive producer Anthony Gay, Charlotte Wilson for her heroic on-site production, Edi Albert for his speaking voice, Dr Jeremy Windsor for his enthusiasm and support, and Mike Newman for bringing some AudioBoom. And the trip would not have been possible without the wonderful International Porter Protection Group and Community Action Nepal.
