Julian Darby made it two wins out of two as interim manager as Bolton beat Northampton Town 3-1 at the Toughsheet Stadium to move level on points with the play-off positions.

George Thomason and Aaron Collins scored the goals, either side of a spiffing own goal from Liam Shaw, who had also scored his side's equaliser.
