  • All Roads Lead to Ruin(s)
Loftar catches up to a group of orcs, ruining their day. But not before one of the orc’s ruins Torg’s shirt. The Loremaster ruins all of Sirk’s fun. No mentions of Rhun, though. Missed opportunity really.

  • Putting the Dwarf Before the Cart
Back in the summer of 2020, we kicked off an all Dwarf campaign using the Laughter of Dragons published campaign book from Cubicle 7, using the now defunct first edition rules of The One Ring (TOR). The campaign spans 37 episodes across 20 play sessions (two years of real-life time) taking our Player-heroes across the Northern stretches of Rhovanion as ... Read More

  • Grassing up the Duke
Welcome to the second episode of our intrigue-based D&D 5e campaign. Join us as we argue about insurance on freight forwarding, shop in a high-ranking noble to their monarch, and then dive head first into a mirror known to belong to our arch-enemy…
    Your classic PC moves basically!
We have a slightly unusual start as I had messed up the audio, so there's a voiceover setting the scene (as well as the usual 'previously on') and we get right into the, er, action straight after.

  • Leave with a Hat, Return with a Crown
Welcome to the third episode of our intrigue-based D&D 5e campaign. Join us as our heroes chase some tricksy Eladrin through the Feywild in a bid to recover the crown jewels of Tethyr!
This is a more typical D&D session with a touch of combat, a touch of exploration and then ending on a social bomb shell!

  • Before They Were Famous
We depart from our usual free-wheeling, high drama, low quality escapades, for a Christmas Special where we reflect on what has made our protagonists who and what they are now.
Each of the players reflects on their character, leads us through their history up to the present day. Along the way we share stories and anecdotes from the game table, much as most roleplaying tables would do.
Its clear to see that the energy and commitment that the players bring to the table in their characters is a real hallmark of the campaign, and how that underlying chemistry makes the game more than the sum of its parts.
We had three objectives for this recording:
Let our hair down, chill, relax and talk about the game out of characterHave on record the character backgrounds and the stories of the campaigns before Titles and TroublesSummarise the current campaign position as a departure point for new viewers
So if you're new to Titles and Troubles, this episode is a good place to start to get a feel for us as players and Diego, Darion and Ox as characters.
Oh… And Secret Santa. A slightly contrived, semi-canonical activity where some of the NPCs that have featured in the story receive secret santa gifts from each other.
I hope you enjoy watching as much as we enjoyed recording!

  • Another One (Doesn’t) Bite the Dust
Welcome back to Titles and Troubles, the high-level Dungeons and Dragons game where our players get frustrated with the outcomes of their characters' actions!
In this episode we attempt the tricky feat of running a small battle in D&D, without either forcing the PCs into "elite commandos" or "boardgame skirmishing"; their combined forces of Dragonborn and Order of the Gauntlet knights meet the Brigands and their undead troops in the field.
Its a tale of twists and turns, of not meta-gaming when you aren't meta-gaming and tears before bed-time.
Oh and there's also a map that may be useful to have in front of you when the first part of the episode plays out:
    Hope you enjoy!

  • Meeting the Queen
Welcome one and all to our D&D 5e campaign. Join us as we follow the heroes that destroyed the Tomb of Annihilation as they settle into a domain-level intrigue game.
    Starring…
Ben as Diego Darkblade, 11th Level Swashbuckling Noble
Josh as Ox, 11th Level Fighter and Chosen of Bahamut
Martin as himself, 11th Level Paladin and enforcer of truth

  • “No money, no defending the Realm!”
We return to our usual style of adventuring in this episode, with our heroes picking up in the Spring of DR1492. Their machinations over the winter have started to bear fruit, but they still have the tricksy challenge of what to do about the brigands that are trying to summon hordes of undead under the leadership of Vampiric Breakbones and Valindra "The Real Lich" Shadowmantle.
In this episode the crew plan their military campaign, learn about the boundaries of their relationships and finally get into the field.

  • Are those MY Crown Jewels You’re Wearing?
Welcome to the fourth episode of our intrigue-laden, domain level D&D 5e Campaign.
In this episode Diego has a memory of when his Uncle returned from Tethyr in his youth, and the PCs find out the relationship between Danalo and the Queen of Tethyr.
spoiler It's not a healthy, vibrant one /spoiler
And then Diego has his official wedding with Tefeneka… But questions hang over his weretiger wife - did she rip apart an innocent man in Waterdeep? And if she didn't who's trying to frame her?
