This is a topic I have never studied before. I’ve always heard “take up your cross, lose your life, or die to self”...but what does that look like? How do I actually die to myself so I can love God and people with my whole life?

Though they are children now, we are tasked with raising adults that will one day leave our homes. I want to raise children that fear the Lord and do what He says. To do that, I must train them through discipline and instruction which leads to wisdom and godliness. 1 Timothy 4:8 says that training in godliness promises benefits in this life AND the life to come. Life-giving mothers, THIS episode is for you!

I think most of us can agree that a mother’s love is caring, nurturing, and affectionate. But let’s go a step further in learning what love is by looking at Jesus. How does He love? And how do we love like Him?

I never knew that what I was searching for was Jesus. That He is all that I will ever need. And I just have to tell you... that He’s all you’ll ever need too. Wanna hear that good news? Take a listen to this episode. This is truly the beginning of life!

To understand who we are and do hat our role is as mothers, we must ask the One who made us.

Mommy, I’m hungry. Mommy, it’s not fair. Mommy, play with me. Mommy. MOMMY. MOMMY!!!!! Can you relate? When you’re feeling overwhelmed, how do you overcome? I overcome by crying out “Abba! Father”. ♥️

What are some of your sweet motherhood moments? It’s all too easy to focus on how hard our job is. Instead let’s think on those sweet, lovely, and worth of praise moments together...today!

Surrender means letting go of our grasp of control into the hands of the One who is already in control. In the freedom of surrender, there is peace, joy, and we actually DO bear fruit. Not because of our striving, but simply because we are One with God!
