I read an article today that people are rushing to buy life insurance within the past month because of #COVID19. Apparently online document sales for living wills are also on the rise. We actually bought life insurance within the last month, but not because of a virus. We had a couple more friends diagnosed with cancer and so we must have had mortality on the mind. The price for our life insurance policies is well worth it for the value we receive. The value being peace of mind. Hopefully I’m in the 90% of 40-year-olds who will survive to age 60 (but if I’m not, my wife is covered). You’re much more likely to die of something other than Covid-19. But if it gets you motivated to do some of the planning you’ve been putting off...go for it. Start prepping.
