I don’t remember the last time I heard someone express excitement for Jesus, I see it in kids, and In the New Year season, but then after that, it’s back to normal regular life where we go through the motions and I feel like excitement is a lacking expression in the Christian community specifically for GenZ b/c excitement = fun and Christian living supposedly does not = fun. Who said you had to be perfect to be a Christian? In my book AKA the bible all I needed was love and grace, not perfection.

There’s so much fixing and healing that needs to be done on myself before expecting success from the things I pour out.
