Kallgren come in relief of Petr Mrazek, and the defense was down to four after Justin Holl, and Ilya Lybushkin got injured. The Leafs still managed to hold on with goals from Colin Blackwell, Morgan Rielly, Alex Kerfoot, Mitch Marner, Auston Matthews, and David Kampf.
