Why does it induce such stress?
Can we take it away - or at least dial the stress down?
Yes - you are good enough. You can write your best 'self' without bullshitting. You control your narrative. And - you are not your work.

Welcome to The Learning Curve Collective Podcast!
How did I become a freelance, online content creator at 39 years of age?
Why did I leave a permanent, full time, profession? Why do so many others want an exit strategy out of academia?
Why did I make my career pivot now?
How do I manage, motherhood, precarious freelance life, a chronic illness?
Why has it made me so much happier?
I'm Dr Vik Turbine and I want to share my learning curve on my career pivot out of academia and into a more creative and passionate form of knowledge creation; online...
Each week, you will get an insight into what building a business from scratch at mid-life looks like. This is a steep learning curve - I'd like to make it easier for you to embark on your own.
There will also be discussion, tips, practical insights, and expert advice from guest speakers. From women who have made a career pivot and redefined how they see and live success - often out of necessity.
I'm passionate about politics, about feminism and about giving women a voice. Mid-life and mid-career is a tricky time; we are often stressed, time-poor, pushed in many directions. We often lose ourselves and our sense of fun, creativity.
Come join the Collective - there will be kindness, intelligent debate, passionate politics, candour - and fun.
I prefer the laughter option now.
