  • EPHESIANS 3:7-13 Church's Bold Access

    Send us Fan Mail

What does that mean? It means that the church today has access to God. that we should come with boldness. And then Hebrews 4.15 and 16 talks about that we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace. That we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in the time of need. So that means that we have the privilege and the right and the access to come to God. Isn't that amazing? I mean, in the Old Testament, guess what? They couldn't come to God, right? They had to go through a priest. They had to go through a temple. They had to go confess their sins. They had to go kill an animal. Only one guy could go into church, into the Holy of Holies once a year in the very presence of God. Nobody else had access to God. But now, every single one of us, if we know Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we have direct access to And we can come with boldness directly to the throne room of God. We don't confess our sins to a man. We confess them to God. Because God is our high priest.

  • EPHESIANS 3:7-13 THAT NOW THE MANIFOLD WISDOM OF GOD MIGHT BE MADE KNOWN

    Send us Fan Mail

Eph 3:7 of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power. 8 To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, 9 and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ; 10 to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places,

11 according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, 12 in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him. 13 Therefore I ask that you do not lose heart at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

In this section we see Paul had a task which was given to him by God’s great power.  'Paulus' is Latin for 'little' or 'small', and tradition says he was a little man. 'I am little,' he may be saying, 'little by name, little in stature, and morally and spiritually littler than the littlest of all Christians.  He also was to explain this mystery that Jews and Gentiles would be one in the church, with a purpose that God’s manifold (of many kinds; numerous and varied) wisdom would be known by the church and the angels in the heavenly places would too.  That this was something planned according to his eternal purposes and was accomplished by Jesus’ death on the cross.  He also tells them that we have boldness and access to God and we should come to Him with confidence because we have faith in Him.  Lastly that they would not lose heart at Paul’s trouble and the trials that he was going through.

This message centers on the transformative identity believers have in Christ, rooted in God’s grace and revealed through the mystery of the unified church composed of both Jews and Gentiles. Drawing from Ephesians, it emphasizes that salvation is not earned but received as a gift of grace, enabling believers to live as holy, reconciled people who reflect God’s manifold wisdom to both humanity and heavenly beings. The preacher highlights Paul’s profound humility—describing himself as ‘less than the least’—as a model of how divine empowerment, not personal merit, defines true ministry. Through personal testimony and biblical reflection, the message calls believers to persevere in suffering with boldness, trusting that God uses trials to glorify Himself and advance His purposes, while urging a life of continual dependence on God through prayer and faith. Ultimately, the sermon affirms that every believer, regardless of circumstance, is called to be a living testament to Christ’s reconciling work, with access to God made possible through faith in Jesus.

Mark 8:36 "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. Have you trusted Him as your Savior? He can Save you if You ask Him based on His death, burial, and resurrection for your sins. Believe in Him for forgiveness of your sins today.

  • FREEDOM IN CHRIST

    Send us Fan Mail

But when you know Christ, you don't have to live that way anymore. You can live for God and you don't have to live that way. That's the wonderful thing about living for Christ. I know most everybody here, nobody's ever gotten to that place, but you know what? We were all capable of it. Every single one of us were capable of it. If you've never trusted Christ here today, Ask God to forgive you. Ask God to save you because Jesus died on the cross for our sins. He died in our place. There's nothing we can do to earn it, to deserve it, to pay for it. But as the old song says, Jesus paid it all, right? He didn't leave anything for us to do, but he paid it all. So today, cry out and say, Lord Jesus, I'm a sinner. Save me if you've never trusted him.

  • EPHESIANS 3:1-7 THE MYSTERY REVEALED

    Send us Fan Mail

This message centers on the profound truth that the mystery of God’s redemptive plan—formerly hidden but now revealed—is the unity of Jew and Gentile in one body, the Church, through faith in Christ. Drawing from Ephesians 3, it emphasizes that this inclusion was not part of the Old Testament revelation but was made known by the Holy Spirit to the apostles and prophets, fulfilling God’s promise to Abraham that all nations would be blessed through his seed, Jesus Christ. The preacher underscores Paul’s identity as a prisoner of Christ for the Gentiles, not as a victim of circumstance, but as one divinely positioned to proclaim this inclusive gospel, demonstrating that God uses every situation—especially suffering and imprisonment—for His greater purpose. The message calls believers to embrace their identity in Christ, recognizing that salvation, adoption, and spiritual blessings are gifts of grace, not earned by works, and that true maturity comes through enduring trials with faith, allowing patience to have its perfect work. Ultimately, the sermon calls for humility, gratitude, and worship, reminding listeners that all glory belongs to God, who empowers believers through Christ to live faithfully and share the gospel with all peoples.

Eph 3:1 For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles-- 2 if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you, 3 how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already, 4 by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ), 5 which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets: 6 that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel, 7 of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power.

  • EPHESIANS 2:16-22 FOR THROUGH HIM WE BOTH HAVE ACCESS BY ONE SPIRIT TO THE FATHER.

This message centers on the profound unity and reconciliation found in Christ, emphasizing that through His death on the cross, Jew and Gentile—once divided by law and culture—are now made one in the body of Christ, the church. It highlights how Christ abolished the enmity of the ceremonial law, creating a new humanity where all are equal in God’s sight, no longer strangers or foreigners but fellow citizens with the saints and members of God’s household. The message underscores that believers are now temples of the Holy Spirit, indwelt by God and built together into a holy dwelling place, with Christ as the cornerstone, reflecting the church’s mission to embody peace, love, and unity across racial, social, and economic lines. The preacher calls the church to live as a visible testimony of Christ’s reconciling work, where genuine fellowship and mutual care reflect the gospel’s power, and challenges believers to embody Christ’s presence in the world, not through division or preference, but through grace, humility, and shared identity in Him.

  • EPHESIANS 2:11-16 FOR HE HIMSELF IS OUR PEACE, WHO HAS MADE BOTH ONE

    Send us Fan Mail

This message, drawn from Ephesians 2:11–13, powerfully contrasts the spiritual condition of Gentiles before Christ—alienated, hopeless, and separated by religious and cultural barriers—with their present reality in Christ, where they are brought near through His sacrificial blood. It emphasizes that salvation is not earned by ethnic identity, ritual observance, or moral effort, but is a divine gift of grace through faith, which abolishes the dividing wall of hostility between Jew and Gentile by fulfilling the ceremonial law and creating one new humanity in Christ. The message underscores that all people, regardless of background, were once far from God and without hope, but are now reconciled to Him through the atoning work of Jesus, who is both peace between God and humanity and the unity of all believers. The tone is deeply pastoral and convicting, calling listeners to humility, gratitude, and evangelistic urgency, while affirming that no one is beyond the reach of God’s grace, not even the most broken or marginalized.

Eph 2:11 Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh--who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands-- 12 that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, 15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, 16 and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.

    I. CHRIST IS OUR PEACE (11-16)

        A. (Separation) THE GENTILES' CONDITION "BEFORE" CHRIST’S COMING  (11-12)

    1.      Without Christ

    2.      Without the Nation or Aliens from the nation of Israel

    3.      Without the promises or Strangers from the covenants of promise

    4.      Without hope

    5.      Without God in the world

       B. (Reconciliation) THE GENTILES' CONDITION "THROUGH" CHRIST’S DYING (13-16)

          1. Made near by the blood of Christ (13)

          2. Now "one body" with the Jews (14)

    because...

             a. Jesus has made Jew and Gentile both one, breaking down the wall of division between them (14)

             b. Jesus abolished in His flesh the law of commandments contained in ordinances that had separated them (15)

             c. Jesus now reconciles them both to God in one body through the cross (16)

Mark 8:36 "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?

    Send us Fan Mail

This message centers on the transformative power of God’s grace, emphasizing that salvation is entirely His work, not humanity’s. It unfolds through Ephesians 2:1–10, highlighting five divine actions: God’s rich mercy and love, making the spiritually dead alive in Christ, raising believers with Christ, exalting them to heavenly positions, and eternally preserving them for the display of His grace. The message underscores that salvation is by grace through faith, not by works, so that no one can boast, and that believers are God’s masterpieces created for good works as a result of faith, not the cause of it. The tone is deeply pastoral and reverent, calling listeners to humility, gratitude, and a life of purpose rooted in Christ’s finished work, while affirming the security of salvation and the ultimate glory due to God alone.

Mark 8:36 "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?

  • EPHESIANS 2:1-3 AND YOU HE MADE ALIVE, WHO WERE DEAD IN TRESPASSES AND SINS

    Send us Fan Mail

Eph 2:1 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, 2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.

Verses 1-3 focus on fallen man, and his hopeless condition (dead) as a result of his sin.

Eph 1:19-23 takes us to the heights in exploring the power & authority of the risen & ascended Christ, Eph 2:1-3 takes us to the very depths, as Paul gives a detailed explanation of the powerless, hopeless, lifeless condition of fallen men, enslaved by their own fleshly desires, & controlled by the world around them & by Satan. The irony of fallen man’s dilemma is that he doesn’t even realize his condition until after he is saved. Lost men, blinded & deceived by Satan, think they are really “living it up,” when in reality they are dead. They think that by living in sin they are enjoying life to its fullest, but they are not. They suppose that they are free, subject to no one, but they are really enslaved.

Mark 8:36 "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?
