It's the U-S of Leeds Baby after Weston McKennie has joined fellow Americans, Tyler Adams, Brendan Aaronson at Elland Road. A loan with an option to buy in the summer from Juventus means Leeds has bolstered a midfield that needed fine-tuning.
Before Weston, Tyler and Brendan Leeds used to have three other American internationals that had made an impact for the club on and off the field. We look back on the time of former whites, Eddie Lewis, Mike Grella and Robbie Rogers.

It was just over two weeks ago when Robbie Keane, we mean Luke Aylings late winner at Molineux, sent the Leeds fans into pandemonium and left us all wanting more. Despite the clocks shedding an hour off the time, it still seemed like an age before Leeds were back at it with a home fixture against Southampton on Saturday 2nd. That means we needed little motivation in getting ourselves back behind the mics to discuss all things Super Leeds.

There’s nothing like a last minute winner is there!? And it’s hard to remember a more vital one in recent memory as Joe Gelhardt steamed in to turn in Raphinha’s cut back, Elland Road erupted and carnage ensued in the stands.

It’s going to be a bit of a different pod as we all know, Saturday’s defeat to Spurs was Marcelo Bielsa’s last game in charge of the club after nearly 4 years in charge. A tough one for many of us fans to take, ultimately the Argentine master paid the price for a few heavy losses and the seeming lack of confidence the players were carrying.
Whether or not it was the right decision or not, I think most fans agree that we wish he could have had a better send off, so our aim is to try to reflect on the positivity his reign has brought back to the club, as well as share some of our favourite memories of Marcelo.

Unfortunately life’s not so simple when supporting Leeds United. After a Jack Harrison-inspire victory at the London Stadium against West Ham, the Whites the slumped to a 1-0 loss at Elland Road to Newcastle, handing them only there second league win this season… yikes. And as the transfer rumours rumble on, it promises to be a busy end to the month off the pitch for Leeds if not on it as we go into the Premier League’s winter break.

After a winter hiatus, due to too many injuries and goal conceded, the team at Right in the Gary Kellys are back with our first Leeds United podcast episode of 2022.
In this jam-packed episode, the team focus their discussions on the January Transfer window, including our thoughts on if Leeds should, or need, to strengthen in this notoriously difficult window. As well as that, we look back on a rather lifeless FA Cup 3rd round tie at the London Stadium and how our academy continues its proud tradition of supplying player to the first team.
We also take a trip down memory lane and look back at the hits and misses of past January transfer windows (note there are MANY more misses than hits…) and even consider starting a transfer rumour of our own, they have to start somewhere after all!
As always, get involved on our socials and if you’re feeling kind, give us a review on your favourite podcast platform. MOT!

Another game and another point on the board for Leeds United after a 1-1 draw with Leicester. This result took us back to our favourite position, 15th and more importantly gave us some breathing space from the relegation zone. We look back on the game at length with our panel of Matt Beedle, Mr LUFC Stats, Andrew Dalton and former Leeds player Simon Walton who are all joined by our returning host, Vik. It was good to have a professional back in the host hot seat.
The team also review the season so far and gave out those important grades. Did one of our panel dare give an A+?

And breathe. Leeds picked up a much needed three points after a 1-2 win over Norwich. This saw us climb out of the bottom three. We look back on the nervy win and ask are we going to be dragged into a relegation scrap this season. Wonders if we’re in danger of being a one-man team and try and figure out who we need in January to get us up the table.

“It was like watching a young Lionel Messi bursting into the box.” Those are the great words of the legendary pundit… Martin Keown when describing Joe Gelhardt burst of pace which saw him brought down to earn Leeds a last-minute penalty. Rodrigo conversion earned Leeds a battling point. We discuss the game at length, rave about our new boy wonder, talk Raphinhia and much much more.
