This episode continues with the king expressing his concern about the slave soldier who had died. He intends to go in person to Naartharmalai.

He enquires Panchavan Madevi about other news in his kingdom.

She tells him the following news:(1) The brahmans wanted to meet the king regarding the sacred thread issue with the karumaars. The king is angered and denies, but he comes to know that they have approached the Royal chief Guru Esaana Siva Pandidhar. The king is annoyed and decides to have an audience with them.

(2) The queen then gives him a joyous news that many kings from neighbouring kingdoms have sent gifts and good wishes to the King for embarking upon the task of construction of the magnum Temple. The king is delighted.

(3) The king is deeply moved with anguish to hear about the suicidal attempt of three Maravar Youths as a token of their love and sacrifice to the king for his temple construction.(4) The kings Chief Queen and other queens have expressed their desire to meet the king at the harem, and also requested for the order to conduct the most acclaimed Hanuman act played by the Pandiya soldiers. The king approves and asks Panchavan Madevi to accompany him to meet the Thalicherry ladies. She denies and the king is overwhelmed to see her selfless nature.She then expresses her deep concern about the King's health and here we can see a romantic moment and exchange of love and affection between the king and his beloved Queen.
