This episode continues with the Queen instructing tailor Mayan to stay at Thallisery habitat as a spy and give information to her. The scene shifts to Thiruvallam entrance where a sculptor and two soldiers on horseback sent by Sadasiva Head Sculptor are stopped and interrogated by the Chola soldiers. The sculptor and the soldiers have been sent by Sadasiva to deliver an important message to Prince Rajendra.

The Prince sends his concubine Davadasi Paravai first to the King's Place to perform and he decides to follow later. Meanwhile after much debate with the Chola soldiers the sculptor and the soldiers sent by Sadasiva meet the Prince and disclose about the illfate of the Rashtrakuta soldier who dies at Naarthaarmalai during the chiselling of rocks from the mountain.The Prince expresses his agony and grief and decides to start immediately to Tanjore to meet the King in person and deliver this sad news. He leaves Thiruvallam with an escort army to Tanjore.
