After the dispersal of the council meeting the scene shifts to the sculptors habitat. Here the chief sculptor kunjaramallar expresses his gratitude and immense love towards the king for mentioning and accolading him and Gunavan. Another sculptor named Lathi also has the prestigious opportunity to share the dining with the king and the Royals. Hence the chief instructs all the sculptors to work with loyalty, passion and fervour to enable the king to construct this magnum temple. He also praises Gunavan and Lathi for their humility and decorum they maintained at the Palace.This humility and well mannered behavior fetched them the respect they deserved. Respect should thus be rewarded and not asked for. Lathi comes forward and gives his piece of idea to make brass idols of Lord Vinayaga, Lord Nataraja and The King to be executed by the brass sculptors. The discussion then shifts to the challenges the sculptors will face while transporting the idols and stones to the top of the steep temple tower. Gunavan comes with an idea and the chief instructs him to create a model. Gunavan and Lathi engage themselves into that work and decide to meet Brahmarayar.
