The legend of La Llorona varies from country to county, region to region and even from family to family. All claim that their version is the true version. Today we will talk about the conception of the legend, its various renditions and adaptations. You'll also get to hear a little bit about my own experience with La Llorona as my own (Puerto Rican) mother used to torture me with this very tale when I was an innocent child.
