I've been informed by a reliable source that without a somewhat braggy, self-promoting, awe-inspiring episode, my credibility is mud.  

What he actually said is that I should explain my background to you, the listeners.  According to him, without knowing my background, I'm just some random guy giving advice. This episode will also help to influence your career decisions on what moves to make and  when. There is always some level of anxiety with change. Hopefully an overview of my choices will help to positively influence yours. 

At the very least, it will enhance your reflection on what you’ve done and get you thinking more about possible outcomes before you make lateral or upward moves in your agency.
