Not only did the Oilers find a way to lock in one of their biggest stars to a max-term deal, but the fact that he was so happy to stay in Edmonton is a detail that makes this extension so much more special. Needless to say, the Oilers organization has come a long way from the days of losing their stars because the team couldn't afford to pay them.

Next up, the guys walked through some of the best stories from Friday's Oilersnation Open, including Tyler's cheating story and how it's a secret that everyone kept under wraps until today. As you'll hear, the tournament was ripe with shenanigans, and it's going to be fantastically funny when two of the podcast hosts find out what actually happened.
