Racial tensions are boiling over in the small town of Forksville, Mississippi after Eli Irons runs across the body of a dead blind servant boy in the woods by his house. After the murder is written off by the Mayor and Sherriff of the town, Eliâs father decides to take a stand for what he believes is right. Soon after, the whole family is thrown into a living nightmare, as the town elders try and destroy them and the hope and justice that they believe in.

A disturbing look at small town racial tensions in the early 60âs and how one family gets caught up in the crossfire. I was at once absorbed and saddened by the events of this one as the action escalated and things got out of hand.
