What will it take for us to generate critical mass for climate solutions before 2030 in the Northeast bioregion? Climate leadership begins with Self and ripples out into our teams and alliance-building efforts. The Alliance’s vision of a latticework of leadership circles in the Northeast bioregion is inspired by a vision that the founder, Lev Natan, saw over ten years ago; old-growth trees sprouting up out of the earth, instantly reforesting the whole planet. This vision has served as a root metaphor to see the possibility of interconnectedness in our human and living systems. On a practical level, the Iroquois Confederacy’s Native American governance structure has demonstrated what is possible, here in the Northeast - a beautiful example of how we can generate “wisdom energy,” so that our children may have a viable future.
