This week, our podcast production team of Chris, Ken, and Heidi follows the money that’s changing hands between the COVID vaccine makers and the politicians in Washington, DC. Huge campaign contributions and expensive lobbying is buying pharmaceutical companies favor with politicians who award massive vaccine contracts to those same companies. Meanwhile, many congressional representatives invest in pharma stocks that they know will surge in value, netting them windfalls in profits.

Chris compares the sudden flood of death rhetoric about the Omicron COVID variant coming from President Biden to the early and unalarming scientific evidence about the variant coming from around the world.

Chris surveys the COVID vaccine mandates from a 30,000’ view, first at the national level, then at the state level, and finally at the city level. He wraps up with a look at the controversial vaccine mandate recently imposed on health care workers at our region’s top hospital, Kootenai Health.

Chris is joined by researcher Heidi and producer Ken to discuss major events over the past two years in which the liberal media, led by a liberal president, has applied a standard of innocence, virtue, and omission to events that advance their socialist agenda but apply a standard of racism, hatred, and condemnation to events that stand in their way.

Chris draws a parallel between the riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin in 2020 and the violence that was prevented in our own region when armed citizens got involved. In Wisconsin, Kyle Rittenhouse shot three men in self defense but faced life in prison if he hadn’t been acquitted. The news media painted a very different picture, however. They ignored the facts and characterized Rittenhouse as a blood thirsty, racial terrorist.

Chris looks behind the empty grocery store shelves at the current supply chain crisis in America. Arguably the world’s largest traffic jam, it is one of the major forces that are driving up inflation. But it’s also proving to be a windfall for companies in the transportation industry as they gouge each other to capitalize on the situation and dip deeper into consumers’ wallets.

Chris explains the issues that were at the forefront of the November 2nd school board elections around the state of Idaho. We then highlight some related state election results before we bring it closer to home and look at local county election highlights. As always, we close with what the Bible has to say and what you can do to make a difference in your area’s education system.
