We would all prefer to keep death at a distance. While it affects everyone we know, including us, we'd rather not talk about it, think about it or experience its pain.  And yet the Bible speaks of death, often calling it a curse and an enemy.

For thousands of years Christians have had a unique view of death. We see death from the vantage point of Christ's life, death and resurrection. We face death with hope - and that has allowed Christians to suffer with strength and witness to those longing for hope.

This Lent season, we will approach the good news of Easter by facing death together. Today's teaching will explore one of the most dangerous lies facing Christians who face death. The health and wealth gospel often creates great confusion and pain for those approaching death and for those who are grieving. Join us as we study what the Bible really says about suffering.
