Division can be the number one roadblock to accomplishment. This week, we will take a look at the consequences of division. We know that when there is an atmosphere of unity, there are no limits to what can be accomplished.
In our social media-pop culture today, there are a lot of opinions about how life should be lived and how we relate to each other. When there is an atmosphere of unity, there are no limits to what can be accomplished.
Atmosphere is a word that speaks to the pervading tone or mood of a place or situation. Prayer is a communication with God, that can change the atmosphere. If the atmosphere is not what we believe God wants….pray!
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:18 NKJV
"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." John 13:34-35
"That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2:10-11 NKJV
This is the ‘stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.’ Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 14:11-12
We have engaged on a journey exploring relationships that has been quite enjoyable and I believe spiritually beneficial. Now, our last message in this series takes us to the relationship to our church. “Church” is a word that brings up different feelings in different people and different experiences with different levels of relationship. Love for the church that lasts a lifetime is worthy of pursuit, and is, in my mind, a biblical pursuit.
