The binging continues!
SCOOB! Parent Review
As a family, we all decided to sit down and give SCOOB! a try. And I gotta say- there were no regrets.
I break it down and let you know just what to consider before buying or renting SCOOB! on video on demand now.
Netflix Hollywood
This one is not for kids- not even a little! But if you like Hollywood- especially old Hollywood glitz and glam, this one might appeal to the dreamers out there.
Hollywood tales the story of young actors, screenwriters, and directors who are chasing their dreams. We've heard this one before? Not like this! What if social conventions changed 60+ years ago? What would the world and entertainment look like? A more inclusive Hollywood sounds like a dream to me- and that's what you get from this series on Netflix.
It's not great- but it is totally bingeable!
We're binging like crazy over here- and I gotta say, I'm not mad about it!
We're reviewing Never Have I Ever on Netflix.
It's got some of the best lines and sharp writing I've seen in a long time (thanks, Mindy Kaling!).
Be sure to check some of these Never Have I Ever quotes out- the John McEnroe ones are my Gen X favorites!
I've got a parent guide for the Netflix series for you this week. Is Never Have I Ever safe for kids? Is this one kid-friendly?
TL:DL: It's a teen comedy so... what do you think? I'll tell you what I decided after my first impressions were proven wrong and why you probably need this show right about now.
Are you the biggest Mouse Rat fan?
Do you wish you could play Cones of Dunshire with Ben?
And is Ann Perkins LITERALLY the most perfect best friend you could imagine?
If you said yes, then you are probably a citizen of Pawnee, Indiana.
Theresa joins the podcast today to talk about her favorite show of ALL time. Plus we talk about the NBC reunion special that aired on April 30, 2020.
Hey y'all!
I'm back and I start off with a little explanation of where I've been and why.
**If you want to skip the chit chat- TL:DL it's about schedules, extra people in the house, quarantine, blah blah blah... (hey, you probably heard it all before and lived it yourself!) skip ahead to about the 7-minute mark.
Whatcha Watching this week?

We laughed, we cried, and for these two fangirls, we thought the series was wrapped up perfectly.
Apparently a lot of the internet doesn't agree- but they're wrong. Ha!
We break down the series finale of Schitt's Creek and talk about how the show impacted us over seasons.
Here Kitty, Kitty!
If you know, you know. If you haven't been down this road just yet- and need to know if you should dive in, this is the episode for you.
We're talking Tiger King with Linz and Julia- and man, we have some thoughts on this one.

START SPREADING THE NEWS
Best. Episode. Everrrrrrr!!! (yes, all those rrrrs were earned).
At least until next week.
Look, y'all, this show has so much heart and it was totally on display. Daniel and Sarah Levy were brilliant and beautiful; I have never loved Emily Hampshire more than this episode.
What a way to lead us to the finale. We discuss it all here- oh, and you get to hear what podcasting during a quarantine with #allthepeople at home sounds like (real life, y'all! lol)

The Pitch
Roland, Roland, Roland. Man, this was a good and heartbreaking and exciting episode.
And Patrick's look at the end? We're weeping!

The Bachelor Party
We had important business meetings, sweatpant shaming, an escape room, matchy-matchy shirts and possibly a way forward for a few of the Roses?
This episode had a little bit of everything- and almost everyone.
But again- ANNIE MURPHY for the win with that Moira Rose impression. This woman is just--- she's just so good this season and needs #alltheawards

Coronavirus should have kept my booty home- but I went to a movie.
And I feel pretty guilty about it. So you get a review and a bonus confession today!
Here's what I plan for the podcast going forward and what happened at the theater during the early days of this pandemic.
Oh- and box office and a review for parents on the movie Bloodshot.
TLDL: Bloodshot is fine, but don't take your kids- or anyone- until this virus situation has passed.
