Hi bestie,
MY GAP YEAR IS ENDING... so what is a gap year like? is it beneficial? should you take one?
In this episode I will discuss everything my gap year experience and whether you should take one too.
Tune in!
Kenyans have you signed up for your passport yet? visa? study permit?
Not yet?!?! The 105, Common App and UCAS applications are waiting for you - go on then! hurry! time is running out... Have you written SAT's yet? CLT's? IELTS? NBT's? Which country are you going to?!?!
Let's be honest, these questions are part of the never-ending list of questions that every Kenyan is being presented with today. The reality is that Kenyans are fleeing with every chance that they get and there is no denying the rate of emigration being at an all time high.
Is this a good thing or a bad thing? Beneficial or terrible idea?
Let's unpack this shall we...
Freedom!!! - No, really. Life without social media is self-sufficiency.
I said goodbye to 21st century acceptance from other people and I've never been more myself than I am now. Now I'm picky and choosy, my own bestie before everyone else's, and only internalise my type of energy. I have the most amazing friendships (after cutting off the one-sided excess), go to gym 6 days a week and I love everyday I see.
Tune in to hear why I made this decision.
And always remember; chase the money, ch$se the money.
As my Gap Year comes to a close and I turn 19, I share with you the lessons I have learned in the past six months.
Truly and honestly - I have changed completely this year. Through letting go of "forever flings", a life crisis' turned into difficult life lessons, friendships concluding and missing morphing into a fever dream, today's episode is a summary of the lessons that changed my way of thinking.
I cannot remember the last time my life was truly perfect or the last time I did not feel fear, but the thing that I can say for this season of my life is that a villain era IS the solution!
On a real note, I hope you enjoy this week’s episode on The Life of a Kenyan Who is Never in Kenya and you have a lovely week. SO much affection towards my listeners <3
Remember that time I had covid on my birthday and celeberated it in isolation? Remeber that time I could not smell or taste for 3 months and my inhaler basically saved my life?
No?
Tune in to hear my covid experience on this week's episode of 'The Life of a Kenyan Who's Never in Kenya'!
Would you date someone younger than you? Would you date someone older than you? Would you even date in general?
Today's episode is dedicated to my besties who prefer longer episodes. I will be evaluating dating older and loving younger in a generation where having a "type" governs our every relationship. But let's be honest - we all know that age is one of the BIGGEST factors when choosing a romantic partner, and we all know why... So, would I date older? Would I date younger? Would I even date in general?
Tune in to hear what I have to say about the age spectrum and why both sides of the scale have their fair share of benefits and issues.
Speak to you then <3
I like people, but what is it that actually attracts my excitement in someone else?
Tune in to find out!
Our inner child is a part of who we are, what we believe, what career paths we take and so much more, but so many of us spend hours running away from it. Are you one of these people?
I'm not - I am more inner child than I am adult.
Tune in to hear how I do it!
Males. Females. Males and Females? I ask myself the same question. Let's be honest - humans are built complicated and it's become our job to try understand one another before we are even finished understanding ourseleves. If there is one thing that i've spend my whole life trying to navigate around is female and male relationships both individually and together.
Tune in to hear my perspective on these dynamics.
