Luke Rogers, raised Independent, Fundamental Baptist and graduated from seminary, worked for churches and was on the cusp of becoming associate pastor of a megachurch, when the head pastor told him to look a the church by-laws and see which didn't align with the Bible.

As Rogers honestly read and tested the by-laws he found out so much more was wrong with not only the by-laws but the very doctrine of every mainstream church. This revelation involved coming back to the Laws in the first five books of the Bible that were much forgotten, such as not eating pork, celebrating Saturday as the Sabbath and eschewing man made holidays such as Christmas and Easter. In doing so, Rogers lost all his friends and some of his family—but he found new ones.
