2071. The Power of Focus on What's Within and Around In Unearthing Our Life's Project.

The wanting things to be instantaneously successful is perhaps one of the biggest problems we have in our society today. But we know that fast answers creat slow minds.

Our discovery of our projects is through marination more than it is through microwaving. In other words, we need to take Bruce Lee's dictum: I fear not the man who has practised 10,000 kicks once, but the person who has practised one kick 10,000 times.

2070. How Problem Solving Helps Us Discover Our Life Projects.

If you wanted to life a project-oriented life, there is one foolproof way to know what your life's project is. It will always be something that you solve. A project solves a problem, creates a solution and delivers a reprieve.

So, you need to find out what problems bother you the most. What do you tell people that 'someone need to do something about this?' You are it.

2066. What In The World is My Life's Project.

This is a recap. We have been talking about discovering our life's work. Once again, what exactly is that. I felt it prudent to repeat the definition or the essence of this before we can proceed.

Life, we are told, is not consistent of the abundance of things. If that is so and if that is what Christ said, then what is it about? It's about loftier things.

2068. How Starting Small Is Critical in Identifying Our Life's Project.

There is one reason why we do not launch our tiny, minute ideas. Look at Facebook. You will not be shocked to know that the idea of Facebook was never for the consumption of the entire world.

It was for connecting colleges. Our life's projects will not necessarily be fully deployed and look all good from day one. That shouldn't discourage us from it. Let's push on.

2067. Finding Your Life's Work from a Place You Cannot Miss

When you create something to perform a particular task, you necessarily equip it with the necessary capacity to fulfill the agenda you have. Capacity tells intention.

If you are looking for your life's project, probably you shouldn't be bogged down by looking at things outside of you. Find out what your capacity is. Listen to this.

2066. The Silver Bullet That Will Help Reveal Our Life's Project.

There is one thing that we can do to get closer to our life's project. Obviously, we need to be intentional and we need to be on the path of the seeker. You don't have because you do not ask.

But even then, as we already know, the information is going to come to us. What we do with that initial information (it will seldom be refined) is what will determine how we shall discover our life's project.

2065. Being Alert to Discover Your Life's Project.

There are several ways to discover your life's project. Perhaps one of the most important aspects of it is to know that it might not occur to you directly. It might just be something that sneaks up on you while you are busy doing other things.

Therefore, it is important for us to be alert and be willing to patiently work until it is revealed and it is relevant.

2064. Understanding The Importance of A Life Project.

I have heard many people in the Christian circles debating that there is no such a thing as one purpose you were created to do. Ahem.

A life project presupposes that you are passionate about one thing that I might never be in a million years. It presupposes that this is the way all of us were structured to live.

Work, thus, becomes our main reason for living and that's how we glorify God.

2063. The 12 Incredible Ways To Raise Project Oriented Children.

Here is my theory and premise: The education system we have has done wonderfully well. It has delivered as structured, but has failed to deliver the promise.

The promise is a human being involved in fulfilling work every waking day. The school system tries to solve this promise with a scarce commodity...that is a job, the project oriented life offers to solve this by immediately involving children in enterprise and problem solving.

2062. Teaching Children the Idea of Long-Term Projects.

I know that the younger a person is, the less they have a grasp on the long term especially when it comes to projects. However, this is why we are parents.

Introducing them to this goes a mighty long way in helping them to be relevant in society when it comes to work and problem solving. That's what a project-oriented life does.
