This episode of Wifey Wednesdays features a pretty infamous wife in the New Testament. Sapphira’s example, along with her husband’s, teaches us a lot of things. This episode focuses particularly on the dangers of having someone’s influence closer to and mean more to you than God’s.
In this episode of Today With Jesus, we conclude our two-part look at “The Blessings of the Suffering Servant” by turning to Isaiah 53:12 — a verse that reveals one of Jesus’ most comforting and ongoing blessings: His intercession.
Isaiah’s prophecy shows that the Servant not only bore the sins of many, but now “makes intercession for the transgressors.” The blessing of intercession means Jesus didn’t just save us at the cross — He continues to stand for us, speak for us, and advocate for us before the Father.
Ashley and Kristen discuss what it means when scriptures say that God Himself remembers something, how important it is for us to remember & rehearse the faithfulness of God, and the many tangible reminders that God orchestrated for His people under the old covenant.

In this episode of Inside the Scholar's Study, Dr. Gallagher discusses the second century Gospel of Thomas!
Cycling back to positive powerful examples from Scripture, this episode of Wifey Wednesdays focuses on the humility of the unnamed Canaanite woman (also called the Syrophoenician woman) who came to Jesus seeking healing for her daughter. The humble example of this mother is a lesson we can all learn from as we seek the goodness of our Savior.
God is kind, gracious, compassionate, and forgiving but he still holds humans accountable for their sins. We can receive forgiveness, but sometimes earthly consequences remain. We should thank God for his goodness and forgiveness and learn from our mistakes so that we will be wiser and holier in the future.

In this episode of Today With Jesus, we continue our study through Isaiah 53 by exploring “The Blessings of the Suffering Servant.” From these powerful verses, we discover two life-changing blessings that flow from the suffering of Jesus: Redemption and Justification.
Isaiah 53:10–11 reveals the heart of God’s redemptive plan — that through the anguish of His soul, the Servant would bring salvation to many. His suffering was not accidental; it was purposeful, leading to our freedom and righteousness before God.
