Fleeing for his life, Jacob stumbles into an encounter with God he never saw coming — a stairway to heaven, a staggering promise, and a vow that reveals just how little he understands who God is. Dr. John unpacks Jacob's famous dream at Bethel to ask a pointed question: are we worshipping God, or just trying to strike a deal with him? True faith, he argues, isn't bargaining for blessing — it's total surrender.
Amazing Promises to Dysfunctional People: In this 20-message series, Dr. John Neufeld walks through the dysfunctional family of Abraham found in Genesis 25-36, uncovering the relational brokenness at its core. Sin leaves human relationships fractured—we long for connection, yet find ourselves divided in so many ways. Listen in, and be challenged to live with integrity even when the world around you feels like it's falling apart.

When you think of Jesus Christ’s life on earth, what comes to mind? Maybe His zeal for pure worship of God and a right understanding of Scripture? Or His confrontation of religious hypocrisy? There’s even more about Jesus’ ministry that you can’t afford to overlook—and surprisingly, it’s in the Old Testament—as John MacArthur shows you in this lesson.
Commitment is key to the survival of a marriage. And commitment begins with Christ. His grace can change your attitude.
Why does God allow difficult seasons? When life feels uncertain, painful, or unfair, it can be easy to question God’s character and wonder if our struggles are a result of something we did wrong. But Scripture reveals a different truth: God’s heart toward us is rooted in love, grace, and mercy—not punishment or condemnation.
Vivian Bricker explores how knowing who God is helps us navigate suffering, uncertainty, and the lies we often believe about God’s intentions. Through Scripture, we are reminded that God’s love does not change based on our circumstances, and that hardship is not proof of God’s rejection or displeasure.

Bible Reading:
“This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins” (1 John 4:10).
In my opinion, the scariest thing in the world is the unknown. Whether that be an undiagnosed illness, starting over in a new city, or thinking about the future, the unknown can be terrifying. None of us can truly know what is ahead because we are not the ones in control.
For some of us, there will be good times ahead and for others, there will be hard times. One cannot be dogmatic and say that those who have good times are in the will of God and those who are going through tough times are not. It is never within God’s will for us to be in pain, to be depressed, or to be sick. He never intended for us to go through any of these things, and it is not right for people to beli
In the ministry of Jesus in the gospels, we see the new creation breaking into the old in a moment of miraculous wonder. The individual healings and the great feeding miracles point us to the ultimate outworking of the redeeming work of Jesus at the cross: all things will be made new. The sick will be restored in resurrection bodies; the hungry will feast at the marriage supper of the Lamb. Have we come to Jesus to receive a place in this new creation? Are we delighting in the prospect of joining him there?
