What should you do when God doesn’t answer your prayers the way you hoped? When a door closes, a relationship doesn’t work out, or a long-awaited opportunity never comes, it’s natural to feel disappointed and question God’s plan. Isaiah 55:8-9 reminds us that God’s thoughts and ways are higher than ours. Even when we cannot understand why He says “no” or asks us to wait, He sees the bigger picture of our lives. Learning to trust God with unanswered prayers means surrendering our expectations, bringing our disappointment honestly to Him, and believing that His wisdom reaches beyond what we can see in the moment.

Salvation comes through faith in Jesus, and him alone; law-keeping will not save. Having been saved by faith in Christ, we continue to live the Christian life by faith in Christ—with whom we were crucified, and who lives in us by his Spirit.
