Spiritual warfare cannot be fought with human strength or worldly influence but only through God's power. Although Christians are weak in themselves, God equips them with spiritual weapons—especially the Word of God, prayer, truth, righteousness, faith, and the gospel—to overcome opposition and advance His kingdom.
God does not ask us to fight spiritual battles in our own strength. His love reminds us that we belong to Him, while His Word gives us the truth we need to recognize and resist the enemy’s lies. Through prayer, Scripture, faith, and dependence on Christ, we can stand firm when temptation, fear, doubt, or discouragement comes. Victory does not come from believing we are strong enough on our own, but from trusting the God who loves us and is faithful to strengthen, protect, and sustain us.

Bible Reading:
“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” – Romans 8:38-39, NIV
I remember visiting my mom in the hospital and bringing her a magazine. It was opened to an article about God’s angels when her nurse noticed it sitting beside her bed. That led to a conversation I’ve never forgotten. He told me that several years earlier, while he was in rehab for alcohol addiction, he had gone through intense spiritual battles. During seasons when he spent a long time praying, God sometimes allowed him to see something that’s usually invisible. The nurse said he could actually see both holy angels and fallen angels around him as battles between good and evil were taking place. It was scary to witness spiritual warfare that’s usually unseen, but he also said it filled him with hope because every time he prayed for help, God responded with love by sending holy angels to fight on his behalf. Looking back, the nurse was convinced that, because God never stopped loving him, he was able to win those spiritual battl

I've been married for 13 years, but in many ways I've been hiding. I've been afraid to be myself. Not anymore! Are we saved by surrendering everything? What about taking up your cross daily and dying to self?
Jesus Christ did not come to preserve empty religion. He came to set captives free.
Teaching from Luke 13, Dr. Michael Youssef examines Jesus’ healing of a suffering woman and His confrontation with legalistic religion. In doing so, Christ exposes the danger of man-made rules that obscure God’s mercy and reveals the true character of Kingdom power—holy, compassionate, and unstoppable.
Dr. Youssef also unpacks Jesus’ pictures of the mustard seed and leaven, showing how the Kingdom of God is both present and future. Through the Gospel, His Kingdom continues to advance until Christ returns in glory.
This episode calls listeners to:
The Kingdom of God is advancing. The King is coming again. Now is the time to repent, believe, and proclaim the Gospel with urgency.
Scripture Focus: Luke 13:10-21
