This week Chaplain Jim Parkin is joined by Cali guest Rick Field. Both a veteran and retired Corrections Officer, Rick shares how he took ownership of his health and wellness after multiple health scares. Waking up daily in a "pissed off state of mind," was the norm and he shares how he worked to take control of his mental and emotional health as well as his physical health. 

"We're out there in high-performance mode... you can't just junk your body... so please change your oil..."

The demands are high within first response, but so are the stakes. You are worth the investment and it is possible to take care of yourself, to thrive, and also enjoy strong relationships with friends and loved ones. What is one thing you're doing to "change the oil?"
