After the quiz, the duo discusses the first episode of ABC’s “The Bachelorette” and what they expect from the season moving forward (12:03). Dan and Al discuss the evening ahead for them, as Dan had a family movie night, and Al was glued to the television watching the Los Angeles Dodgers win their third NL pennant in four years (20:20). Al presents a genius new idea to Dan involving water glass sets that you can buy in stores (34:34). The two conclude the episode by drafting the top four gas stations in North America (39:00).

Dan and Al get behind the microphone to discuss how their Octobers are going. Dan reveals why he is down on Pumpkin Patches and Al recaps his trip to the Upper Peninsula. The two give their brief thoughts on a few sports storylines including the Los Angeles Dodgers being in the NLCS for the 4th time in the last 5 years. The dynamic duo that goes by Dan and Al conduct a draft of their top 4 soups. After drafting some quality soups, and chicken noodle soup, Dan and Al turn their attention to a fun edition of the Over/Underrated game. Al poses the question to Dan as to whether he would rather spend time in a hot air balloon or a submarine. 

Dan and Al assess the sports landscape as the busy month of September comes to a close. The two offer their MLB postseason predictions before drafting the top four promotions. After going over the value of cardinal directions, Dan and Al round out the episode by playing the overrated/underrated game.

Dan and Al reconvene to rank the final 10 states left in their 50 states rankings. The process: deliberative. The results: disappointing.

Alex Baker and Daniel Lekah waste no time in getting into this week’s top four draft. The two draft the best soda’s around. The two then turn their attention to the week that was in the NBA playoff bubble before playing a round of the overrated/underrated game. Dan and Al then discuss what foods they would sell at a food truck, how bridges are built and how many shrimp are consumed in Las Vegas on a daily basis. The duo becomes a trio as former Omaha World Herald Nebraska basketball reporter Chris Heady (40:11) joins the podcast to discuss Taylor Swift’s album “Folklore”, expectations around the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s athletic program and, of course, Tim Miles.
