One of the limitations we have put on ourselves as believers is doubting our standing in Christ or disqualifying ourselves in our minds when we pray.

In all your relationships, with friends, neighbors, coworkers, brothers and sisters in Christ, what kind of representative of Jesus Christ are you being?

Can others see him in you? Or do they only see you?

Imagine a scenario where we allow the use of face recognition in the church to track attendance in a physical meeting in the church. What concerns would that raise? If this were applied at your work place to track attendance at work, would you complain?

Face recognition used AI’s computer vision domain and machine learning to recognise your face. This is already being used for KYC validation by the banks. Would you consider it intrusive if this is adopted by the church?

In our journey of faith, there may be times when we feel like giving up. It is at these times that God fans the flame of our faith by refocusing us.

Thoughts are unspoken words that have the same effect on our psyche as spoken words. The language of the heart can either be crystal clear or confused - if it is clear, we know what to do and get more done. However, if the language is confused,

we become like a person driving with a blurred vision. Confusion and frustration set in.

So, when we speak of a disciplined thought life, we are talking of how you ensure that the unspoken words of your mind are not confused or in tandem with God’s thoughts about you and that is what I want to address this morning.

How did David encourage himself in the Lord? How did David draw strength from God?

He waited on the Lord! To wait is to “bind yourself” with God

Steps:

- Shift focus from the crisis to the crucified Christ. Remember God's character and word amid

the situation because God’s character does not change and His words uphold the universe.

- Seek direction from God on what to do next

- Strategise the action plan on how to act on what you have been shown

- Share your goodness with the world even when you are in pain. It is a seed that will always

come back to you and more.

- Remember God has helpers along the way.

- Remain a person of integrity. Don’t seek vengeance

- Act with the end in mind, holding a picture of victory.

- Celebrate God in all things and celebrate people who supported you in the journey.
