The Lincoln Law Pod delivers a discussion of The Lincoln Lawyer episode 8 plus an interview with Puja Mohindra.

Pete and Mike join Tracey to discuss The Lincoln Lawyer episode 8 this week on the Lincoln Law Pod from SoManyShows.com. We also have an interview with Puju Mohindra who plays Sonia Patel in season 1. And, of course, we include Q&A; with showrunner Ted Humphrey specific to episode 8.

Episode 8 brings the big reveal of Jerry Vincent’s “magic bullet”. Mickey works his charm in the courtroom with a host of witnesses who corroborate details that swing the pendulum in favor of Trevor Elliott. So, why is this not enough for Trevor? Izzy calls upon Mickey when her past stirs up temptation. Meanwhile, Maggie and Lankford work a tight deadline on the Angelo Soto case.

As always, you can expect colorful commentary and thought-provoking questions during the podcast. Trivia and selections for the episode’s “person of interest” round out the conversation before the Q&A; with The Lincoln Lawyer showrunner Ted Humphrey. We end the episode with our exclusive chat with Puja Mohindra about playing Sonia Patel and other projects she has to share.

Meet Puja Mohindra

Puja Mohinda has worked both in front of and behind the camera as an actor, writer and director. She was thrilled to portray Sonia Patel, friend and colleague of Lara Elliott, in The Lincoln Lawyer series. Working on a project attached to David E. Kelley, Ted Humphrey and Michael Connelly was a very special opportunity. Puja also directed and starred in the 12-episode series Geeta’s Guide to Moving On.

Puja also has a film titled Lakshmi in Love in the works! She describes the project as a coming-of-age love story about an Indian woman who stumbles into first love at 60 and starts acting more like an American teenager than an Indian senior citizen. The project is a Hollywood-Bollywood crossover film that bridges the East and West, amplifies the message of Love and Light, and is an homage to Nora Ephron.

Lakshmi In Love is being produced with Neil Landau, who wrote Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead, Steve Stanley, and Yashna Malhotra. Puja shared how amazing and talented they all are and that she is so grateful to collaborate with them.
