The statement “ ground zero ” refers to a starting point or a base for some activity. At Blackline our vision is to lift the view of the skilled trades and our mission is to communicate that the people have value. Let us give a little context as to why we have a vision statement and mission statement at BLACKLINE. A vision is something that you see, you envision, and you never really are done with a vision. A mission is something that you set out to do, a goal, and you can complete that mission. At Blackline, we will never stop lifting the view of the skilled trades but, that is just the starting point of us communicating the true value of the men and women that do the work. we can say that in this podcast episode with Andrew Brown, he achieves our mission by communicating the value that the men and women at Ground Zero on September 11, 2001 showed him.
