In this continuation of our conversation with Daniel, the thing that really stood out to us is what it is to have value. He talks about where you place that value and how you give that value to others. It’s possible to know who you are and move forward with confidence without becoming arrogant and full of yourself. Sometimes this is something that can be a struggle. We believe in the blue-collar world or the trade world that we become unaware that other people don’t know what it takes to get the job done and quite frankly, we can take that and wear it as a badge of honor that we do know. Sometimes it’s really hard. All of us are posting and putting on brave faces, making things look like we have it all together and figured out. But most of the time nobody does. When in life you start to do things to improve and better yourself, there may be people around you who aren’t doing that same thing. Maybe they’re just coasting.
