Merry Christmas.

 As Christmas approaches, and as we drop our podcasts every Monday here at Blackline LTD , our team wanted to give our listeners a gift, the gift of leadership.

 We sat down with Wally Adamchik CMC, CSP, MBA on the battlefields of Gettysburg to talk about what leadership really is, how you attain it, how you keep it, and how you build it.It is truly one of the most powerful locations we’ve recorded in so far, and standing there, it’s impossible not to think about the men and women who sacrificed so that you and I could live the lives we live today.

The symbols of leadership on the battlefield translate clearly to life and to the jobsite. While we may not be getting shot at, and the risks may not be as obvious as they were then, they are no less real. The decisions we make as leaders are noless important. When you lead people, you affect their lives, for good or for bad, toward a brighter future or toward no future at all.

Wally shares wisdom from more than two decades of being invited into boardrooms and companies across the country. He shares his heart, and he shares the truth. For me, thisconversation was a gift, which is exactly why we’re calling this episode The Gift of Leadership. And Wally is bringing it to you this Christmas.
