Cutting corners and cheating for quick gain results in advantage that doesn’t last. Living to please God looks like a disadvantage that keeps you from getting what you want and it makes life harder, but the results last forever.

You feel like a hypocrite asking God for help when you’ve sinned greatly. But there is no other saviour who can help you. You continue with God like you started and He will help you.

Here’s a recipe for disaster: get two people reunited without working out their differences. Thank God He resolves all the issues that separate us from Him.

When you sow a seed it results in multiplying what you sowed. David sowed a sin that multiplied its effect in his life and his families’ lives. We don't have to experience this wreckage. God's way has no death in it, only life and peace.

A single-minded person has an advantage over a double-minded person: He has clarity, confidence, and understanding. And Jesus is the only One who can free from doubt, fear, and ignorance.

God’s greater purpose is to use your changed life to touch and bless others.

Believers in Jesus do not fight flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness. Therefore we have to resist in a spiritual way, understanding strategies and growing in our relationship with the Holy Spirit.

Instead of reading the Bible and feeling like it went right through you, you can put that living word in your heart, where it will deal with your doubts, fears, and ignorance.

Difficulties, discouragement, and suffering make you think, “This isn’t working. I can’t keep going. I quit. Who cares?” When you engage with God’s word you engage with God, and He gives you what you need through His word.

Endurance overcomes exhaustion, discouragement, and all difficulties that we face, until we receive what God has promised.
