What if church was never meant to be something we simply attend, but something we are?

In this message, we look at what it means to be the Church, a people called out of darkness, given a new identity, and sent into the world to represent Jesus.

Peter calls us a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation and God’s very own possession.

That identity comes with a responsibility: to live differently, love differently and represent Jesus wherever we go.

The Church should look different, sound different, think different and behave differently.

So, the question isn't simply, “What church do you go to?”

The question is: “Does your life look like someone who belongs to Jesus?”

Who Will Carry the Baton?

As we get older, we start asking questions we may never have considered before: Who will continue the work I’ve started? What legacy am I building? And will anyone stand on my shoulders and go further than I ever could?

In this powerful message, we explore what it means to pass the baton—not just in leadership, but in faith, discipleship, family, church, and everyday life.

Drawing from Deuteronomy 6 and the story of Moses and Joshua, we’re reminded that building for the next generation isn’t something we do occasionally. It’s something we live out every day. We can’t expect the next generation to carry what we’ve never taken the time to build, and we can’t pass on a faith that we haven’t first allowed to take root in our own lives.

The challenge is simple: Will you take the baton? Will you run?

As we look toward 2027, this is a call for all of us to take responsibility—to serve, disciple, pray, teach, build, give, and prepare the way for those coming after us.

Imagine a church where God is not optional. Where prayer is prioritised, the Bible is taught as truth, our kids are valued, people serve generously, the lost are pursued, and we build not only for today, but for generations to come.

The baton is being passed. The question is: are we ready to take it and run?

THE NEXT SHOT

What do you do when you hit a bad shot?

You can stand there staring at where the ball went, replayingthe mistake over and over…

Or you can pick up your club, look at where you are, and ask:

“What’s my next shot?”

Life can be a lot like golf. We all make mistakes. We allhave moments we wish we could replay. But our last shot doesn't have todetermine our next one.

It was built to save lives.

In the same way, the Church is not something we simply attend when it suits us. We are called to be part of what Jesus is building, to serve, contribute, disciple, pray, give and helpothers find salvation and life in Him.

The question is not whether God has given us a blueprint.

The question is: Will we follow it?

Are we willing to let go of control, stop simply standing on the sidelines, and become part of building something that matters for eternity?

This message is a challenge to move from being a bystander to a builder, from having good intentions to living in obedience, and from simply attending church to helping build the Kingdom of God.

The ark was built to save people from certain death.

The Church is still God's plan to bring people to Jesus.

All ears… 

We live in a world filled with voices. 

Every day we are bombarded with thousands of messages telling us what to think, what to believe, who to follow, what is right and what is wrong. 

But with more information than ever before, do we actually have more wisdom? 

In this message, we dive into DISCERNMENT, the God-given ability to distinguish truth from error, right from wrong, and, most importantly, to recognise what God is saying and what He wants us to do. 

Because not everything that looks good is God. 

Not every opportunity is an assignment. 

Not every open door is a God door. 

Not every voice deserves our attention. 

And sometimes the enemy doesn't need to give us something bad, he just needs to distract us with something good. 

So how do we know when it's God? 

We look to His Word, listen to His Spirit, examine the fruit, seek godly counsel, and learn not just to hear God's voice, but obey it. 

Because the goal of discernment isn't simply knowing what is wrong. 

It's knowing what God wants you to do, in every situation. 

There may be 10,000 voices competing for your attention… 

But can you hear His? 

Storms are coming.

The question isn't whether they'll come, but what will happen when they do.

In this powerful message, we look at Jesus' teaching in Matthew 7 about the wise and foolish builders. Both built houses. Both faced the same storm. The difference wasn't the weather, it was the foundation.

 Are you building your marriage, family, finances, ministry, character and future on solid ground?, or are you building on what is convenient, popular or feels right?

Jesus makes it clear: hearing God's Word isn't enough, we have to obey it.

Your habits today become the strength you stand on tomorrow.

When the storm comes, will your life stand?
