It was a busy week for the La Vernia Junior High School Theatre Arts program, as it staged performances of “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe” Jan. 13-14. There was much opposition leading up to the opening night. A few minutes into Tuesday night’s production, they had to close the curtain and cancel the performance, due to a bat literally stealing the show!
