Since their first year in 2010 Team Carrie have been an integral part of Late Lunch.  It all begins in May each year when Gerry Kelly follows the fortunes of a number of the team to the Dublin Marathon.  This time round it was Ciaran Brennan, Mandy Hatch and Denise Hughes who featured and on October Bank Holiday Sunday, Marathon Day, Gerry was in Dublin with the crew!  Here's a flavour of how a very specail day unfolded with Team Carrie...

King of the Pumpkins Tom Dillon opened the show swiftly followed by Michael Tea Higgins Cosy knitter Margaret Lynch.  Back to Sunday and the Dublin Marathon we went as Gerry tagged along with Team Carrie 2018.  Dentist Dr David Murnaghan from Boyne Dental and Implant Clinic in Navan had some very interesting advice to impart on gum disease and more besides.  While author Cecilia Ahern wants Gerry to call her Every Day!!!

Craft Butcher Hugh Maguire and Executive Head Chef at Tankardstown House Eoin Gilchrist are gearing up for the culinary side of the Dowth Point to Point.  Carmel McCarthy, Ciara Burke and Karen Devine are Women with no shortage of Opinions!  While Gerry checked in with Team Carrie ahead of the 2018 Dublin City Marathon on Sunday.

Lynda Barron and Aine Murphy joined us to tell us the story of Lynda's little daughter Zoe who will have her life transformed once she gets to the USA for specialist treatment.  Sinead Kelly answered allcommers questions about their Pet Problems.  Nutritional Therapist Ciara Wright was a mine of information and advice about the link between nutrition and fertility.  While David Sheehan told us why he's bringing the Meath double All Ireland winning side of '87 and '88 together in the Knightsbrook Hotel in Trim on Friday!
