Everyone knows and loves the mighty Property Viking that is Kristjan Byfield, but we rarely get to talk to his partner Ann Deckers so we were really looking forward to this one.

Ann and Kristjan founded Base Property Specialists some seventeen years ago in Shoreditch and have quickly risen to fame as multi award winning agents and all round good guys. A staunch supporter and valiant defender of our industry, Kristjan is a familiar face on the podcast, webinar circuit and has published many impassioned pleas and open letters in the industry press from time to time. Putting customer service and open communication at the heart of everything that they do, it is easy to see why they are widely regarded as exceptional agents.

But their story doesn’t end there, five years in the making, they have recently ventured into the Proptech sphere having launched the innovative and time saving tool for agents, tenants and landlords called The Depository. Tackling the pain points and tedious administration at the end of a tenancy, their product has the benefit of being built for agents, by agents using their vast knowledge and experience in this realm.
