Max and I are back. We talk about the NBA Bubble, books and TV shows we're consuming during the pandemic. We spend a lot of time discussing nasal breathing and the health benefits of mouth taping at night. We finish talking about masks and the election, but wanted to keep it light since every day seems to bring more chaos.

The podcast has been on a little break. My producer was moving, and then had some equipment issues. And, I've made a commitment to be better about taking care of my health so I've been filling my time with swimming laps and changing eating habits. So, to the Day1's out there, my bad. And, I recorded this episode weeks ago. I think it was really close to the George Floyd murder. We spend a good deal of time talking about the current state of the US. Some of it may sound dated because it was a few weeks ago. Crazy times we live in. This is definitely one of the best episodes we've done. Mike is throwing fastballs the entire time. I learned a ton from him and was deep in the conversation. Mike is a marketer, guitar player, BJJ practitioner and possesses a wide range of skills. I've been friends with Bryan for about 15 years. I have watched him grow and develop into an amazing human. He is a life long learner and seeks to do his very best at everything he does. Whether its Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, BBQing, helping people move better, or rescuing dogs, Bryan always tries to be the best he can at it. He takes no shortcuts and is an extremely hard worker. Not only. that he is friendly, and humble and always encouraging. I'm glad you get to hear from my friend, Bryan Marugg! We spend probably a little too much time talking about chickens and rescue dogs, but hey it's a conversation between two friends.

My friend, Matt Espinoza (@salemhoopsproject) and I talked about our impressions of the first 4 episodes. Hes a hoop head and really loves the game. I'm a faker, but I thought we had a good discussion about the Michael Jordan docu-series everyone is watching because of the quarantine. I'll admit, I was a Magic Johnson guy, but this doc is soooo good. If you haven't been watching, get caught up. Even if you're not a basketball fan, it's worth the watch. Anyway, I sound like an old man telling kids to get off my lawn and wishing for the old days, but I'm ok with that. I hope you enjoy! MJ is the GOAT. Don't @ me! 

Jacob and I have known each other for years. But, this was the first time we've been able to collaborate professionally. We had an awesome time talking about what matters in organizations, how to figure out what you really want in life and a number of other topics. He is a wealth of knowledge and I hope everyone will take the time to listen. It's definitely worth it!
