What’s up every one! Welcome to a really strange episode of LBK. If you were watching the livestream, you would know that the show started off just kind of… awkwardly. But if you did not watch the livestream, then everything will seem normal! Writing these is always fun because I get to reminisce on all of the fun things that happened during the show. Robin set a timer to see how long we (or just Jeff) talked about Destiny. I don’t believe we exceeding 20 minutes! Rachel talks about her journey of starting to raise a Titan. Drew tells us about his manly duty for the week, and Robin admits her plan to take over the world! Not really, but maybe. Ok folks, enjoy!

As a welcomed substitution to the kast, Glenn the globetrotting chef joins us in Jeff’s place for this episode and proceeds to be censored up one side and down the other. Thank you for not disappointing us, Glenn. Everyone picks apart their decisions in Until Dawn while Robin hugs her knees in the corner and schedules counseling sessions to help her move past her crippling fear of clowns (to which everyone responds by SENDING PICTURES OF CLOWNS you sick, sick people!).
Beginning with a conversation about the mediocrity (maybe?) of the new Mad Max game and the majesty of the Mad Max movie, the modified Littlebigkast picks apart the phenomenon of games transitioning to movies; what makes a successful transition, what genres are more adaptable, and what were some of the high/lowlights of this movement? You curious now? Yes, yes you are.

After being separated for far too long, the entire Littlebig cast (yes I meant to say it that way) returns in full-ish force to bring you hilarity, commentary and something else that ends in the “-ary” sounding suffix. Oh, and there’s gaming news, nostalgia and Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture for our indie game of the week!
Rachel returns from her escape to Florida, where “everything is trying to eat you” and shares her stories of adulting and gaming issues (remember kids, packing the correct chargers for a trip should be more important than underwear). Robin laments the end of summer while Drew goes into hyperdrive of awesome parenting by using events in King’s Quest as a teachable moment. And Jeff goes for *drumroll* one week without energy drinks (fanfare, confetti and marching bands)!!!!

Ohmygosh, the sheer, unbridled joy streaming from Jeff’s mouth over Destiny can’t be quelled even by the quippy and painfully-witty comments Drew and I (Robin) come up with for each item of Jeff’s 20-some-item list. Seriously, it’s pretty cute how much love this man has for this game.
Other than Destiny, we talk about the Vita, gaming with a baby (Jeff even gets a gift from Scott and myself), King’s Quest, and how much we miss Rachel and she doesn’t miss us. No, Rachel, don’t try to deny it…you don’t miss us and you know what, I’m glad you forgot your DS charger while you ABANDONED us! (I’mkiddingimissyoucomeback).

Aaaaand we’re here! I know you were panicked when we had to postpone until a day later, but nothing could keep us away from the fun that is Littlebigkast for very long!
We have all decided adulting is hard so we’re just not going to do it anymore! Drew goes on vacation and plays video games in Yellowstone, Jeff laments his personal fitness goals, Rachel discusses her exercise routine (and has everything to do with our show title, and Robin gives her review for “Armada” from Ernest Cline and “You’re Never Weird on the Internet (Almost)” from Felicia Day (because we is intelligets!).

Drew’s news, Drew’s news!
Another week has passed and once again the powers of the LBK Crew combined to create a memorable tidbit of audible pleasure for you. This week Jeff was hung up doing important things, so Drew, Robin and Rachel grabbed the helm and drove the ship into the deep.
We started by learning about the benefits of noise-canceling headphones, we got the real scoop about what Robin was doing in New Mexico and we learned that Rachel has a few gaming secrets. Imagine, there’s a game that Rachel has never played?!! She bares her soul wide. Drew reminisces about super exploding zoo after fighting through 80 levels of eye-popping-puzzler fun. After we cover all the important news items of the day we start exploring our feelings about ports, remakes and remasters. And somehow… no one really knows how it happened… we made it through the whole show without mentioning the D-word.
Roll it! Pat it! Mark it with the ‘D’… throw this baby in the oven! It’s Episode 63!

Jeff give us the details about his brand new baby and sleep deprivation, but more importantly he ran a FLAWLESS raid. Ohhhhhh!!!! Rachel and Leon have a deathmatch over Crossy Road which will make for an interesting dynamic in their brand new hipster apartment! Drew reminisces about his recent freelance work which sounds way too fantastic for me to even comprehend.
Best quote comes from Drew answering why he packs a PS4 on his adventures. “I’m a man with needs.”
