"We know that Christ, raised from the dead, dies no more; death no longer has power over him." We rejoice in the greatest victory. When we unite ourselves to Christ Jesus, we unite ourselves to his resurrection from the dead.

The Good News of Jesus Christ is that we are known by God the Father; loved by God the Father; and called to an eternal relationship of love -- God the Father in Jesus his Son and through the Holy Spirit.

"Receive the Holy Spirit." We know that Christ is risen from the dead because he has given us a share of his Spirit. If the Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells within us then we know that we, too, shall rise from the dead.

They devoted themselves with one accord to prayer." On this seventh Sunday of Easter, we are one with Jesus as he prays for his disciples.

"Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." After Jesus' ascension, his ministry of reconciling all things to the Father continues through the ministry of the Holy S

"I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you." We are not orphans; we are adopted by the Father through baptism into Christ Jesus. Now we enjoy the Father's gaze of love that he gives to his Son.

During our baccalaureate service we rejoice in the good work that God has begun in our young people and send them forth with hope that their future is filled with blessings from the Lord.

Jesus' way is our way, the path of oneness with God.
