Oh man! Today's episode was so fun for me!! I was honored to have Andre Sloan, man of God, singer, sing writer, artist, and more! We talk about how Andre, who was a top athlete in high school and received an academic scholarship, got into singing and songwriting. Andre Sloan is an inspirational artist from Houston, Texas. He seeks to help others through sharing his story of pain, life's tragedies, and amazing triumph. From HIV and homosexuality to overcoming hardship and turning experiences into activism. Andre believes that he is called to heal, set free, and deliver God's people through song and testimony. His prayer is that folks accept his music and art as radical praise and apply the messages given by God to their everyday life. He is the total package you guys! He is so incredible and fun and a true joy to talk to. I could really talk to him all day! One day, I hope to be able to wrap my arms around him and give him a massive hug. I hope that you fall in love with his sweet demeanor and his message as well. I just don't have enough praise for this magnificent human and his message that God loves you no matter what! Hey friends! Welcome back! You're listening to episode number 52.
Today's episode is sooo life giving! I had the pleasure of laughing with comedian Wendy Maybury, single momma who lives down the street from her parents, and we talk all about how she had the audacity to get into comedy, how she lost 160 pounds, raising kids through a pandemic, and my favorite subject ever - living authentically into who you really are in order to serve your true purpose!
Wendy grew up all over the US as a military brat which means- she learned to make friends fast because, in two weeks, she was probably moving. This helped her develop the warm friendly style she's used to entertain audiences all over the country for the last seven years. She signed with Stand Up Records and her first album "She's Not from Around Here" was released on June 26, 2020. Go grab it right now on Itunes or Amazon! Wendy is also the producer of "Day Drinking with Mom," a show that offers comedy, sympathy, and some drinks to help Moms relax and enjoy the roller coaster of parenting.
Come Take this wild ride with Wendy and I while we explore all the intricacies of life together.

Welcome back! You're listening to episode 51.
Today's episode is a fun one because I get to talk to Megan Spaulding about her new period app, In Sync. Hello boy band fans! haha just kidding. This has nothing to do with JT, but everything to do with tracking your cycle to know how it effects your energy, your mood, your productivity and HOW to use that to help you plan out your month. If you are woman with a period and you're ALIVE, this episode is for YOU!
Let's dive in.
Megan is the founder and CEO of In Sync, a period and mood tracking app designed to help couples connect. On top of a being a full-time entrepreneur, she is a wife to Caleb, and a mama to two littles ( Foster & Civil). It's this kind of balancing act that inspired her to get to know her own body, and sparked the idea for In Sync! It's her dream to bring a more holistic and human voice to the femtech space.

Hey friends! Welcome back. Today's episode is an extra special BONUS episode with three reasons you're lacking motivation and how the heck to overcome it. Some of the things we cover:
1. )You're overwhelmed, either by too many options or too many items on the to-do list.
- Choose one goal to go all in on. Pick the thing that will have the most impact on the rest of your goals.
- Choose three things the night before to get done the next day and choose them wisely. Slow progress is still progress.
- Only choose one thing that feels tedious and time consuming. If it's your job to eat a frog, it's best to do it first thing in the morning.
- Action creates clarity.
2. You're not aligned with your goal.
- Be honest and authentic with yourself. What is your actual mission? Why is this your goal? If you're not inspired by it, you won't keep going.
- Make sure your goal is soul rattling! That hunger will move mountains.
3a. Your goals are too big.
- You feel like you have all the time in the world because "one day" you'll be the person that can accomplish that big goal. Break the goal down into small, achievable pieces.
If your goal is to make $10 million dollars, but you've never made $100k, start there!
Then the goal is too big, it feels too overwhelming and distant. Breaking it into smaller pieces helps it come into focus.
3b. Your goals are too small.
- You feel like it's so easy to accomplish it that you have all the time in the world. You need to go bigger!
If your goal is to make an impact on 100 women in the next year but you regularly talk to 5 people a month, you'll know you've pretty much got 60 in the bag already. Then, you'll waste time until the last few months and then feel overwhelmed with those last 40 in the last few months.
Go bigger. Say 200 women and get that ball rolling today!
People underestimate how much they can accomplish in 10 years, but overestimate what they can do in a day or week.
What tips do you have for overcoming a lack of motivation?
And if you need help overcoming yours or need some direction with your goals, I've got a 6 week 1-on-1 program where we tackle all these things! You get weekly coaching calls and full access to me via voxer between calls for anything that comes up. Let's work together to build your legacy. PM me for deets.

Hey everyone! You're listening to episode number 50!
Today's episode is quite intriguing. I get to talk to Rebeka LaRobardiere, relationship and certified sex coach. We talk all about how to get what you want in the bedroom and how to talk to your kids about sex. I know... scary! HAHAHA But sex is a big, huge deal in our society. Sex sells. Sex is naughty and secretive. But with all that's going on in the world, this is super important to me. We must be our children's educators so they know what's inappropriate when someone else approaches them. And it never hurts to get more comfortable talking about with our spouse either. After all, we're supposed to do this with them for the rest of forever, God willing. So let's get what we want, ladies!
Rebekah is a Relationship and Certified Sex Coach practicing in Northern California. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Certification in Sex and Relationship Coaching. Rebekah continues to further her education as a lifelong student. East Coast natives, Rebekah and her husband of 15-years, Sam, relocated to the West Coast with their 3 children in early 2012. Rebekah and Sam are both entrepreneurs at heart and presently co-own Theory Collaborative, an award-winning specialty coffee roastery and cafe in Redding, California. When she’s not coaching, you will find Rebekah expanding her knowledge in a broad range of topics regarding sex and relationships. Psychology, relationship dynamics, and the enneagram; connecting with friends and family; cooking, entertaining, sunbathing, and pushing her physical limits as an avid admirer of running—training for half marathons. For those familiar with Myers Briggs and the Enneagram, Rebekah is an INFJ and a Counter-Type Social 8.

Hey friends! Welcome back! I am so excited to have you here. If you haven't already, take 5 seconds and go join the Live with Audacity facebook group. We've got a lot of fun things going on in there the rest of the year so jump in there and let's get to know each other. I show up in there pretty often and have developed personal relationships with so many members. I want to know you, too!! Come on!
Today, you're listening to episode number 49. WHEWWW Today's a big day. There are a few changes coming to the podcast that I want to let you know about!
As you all know, we've spent the last, like, 7 months in a pandemic. UGH it's been so hard. Some days have been awesome, some days have been down right awful and horrible and icky.
I was no stranger to the toll the pandemic has taken on my mental health. I did not come out unscathed. Wait... are we even out of this yet? Noooooope doesn't look like it.
But you know what we are out of? The lull in this podcast! I am so excited because today I want to tell you about the plans for the podcast moving forward. Now, being an audacity coach puts me in communities with TONS of other amazing coaches! And they all have their specific niche, right, and that's a lot of what you've heard on this podcast up until now. And they've all been incredible.
BUT... moving forward, I want to expand our views a bit more. I want to have people on with even more inspiring stories, no matter their walk of life or business direction. OF COURSE, I want to keep giving you incredible, tangible tips for how to move your own needle as well. This advice can come from so many places, though, so I am breaking down the barriers for us all.
If you have someone you think has a great story, please send them my way! I'd love to talk to them.
Another thing you can look forward to are more solo episodes. I am so excited and ready to start coaching on this podcast and talk to you about how to change your life. I've done it! I know lots of other women who have done it. And now I want to help you do it, too.
And lastly, I am moving the podcast to have new episodes go live on Wednesdays rather than Mondays. Not a huge change or shift, but it makes my job a smidge easier as a podcaster.

Know someone in the first-responders line of work? Married to a first-responder?
Often times, we as civilians don't realize the emotional toll being a first responder takes on our friends in the line of duty. But y'all... depression, anxiety, ptsd, are all things that can be a problem for these amazing people who put themselves out there for our well-being!
Today I get to talk to Irene Elbie, Alaskan mom and wife who has changed her whole marriage (to a LEO by the way) by healing her own heart and learning to be more compassionate and loving. Now she is taking what she's learned to help other LEO and first-responder couples. She's the soul behind the Facebook group "The Strength Beside the Badge". She'll tell us about how this all came about for her and how it's changed her family.
Irene Elbie is the creator of the FB groups: Strength Beside the Badge and Empower & Inspire with your Story. She is a married mother of 3 sons, ages 29, 23 & 3. Irene quit her paralegal career to stay home and raise her youngest son two years ago and her life drastically changed when she invested in herself to learn how to start her own coaching and consulting business. These are just some of what this 21st Century leader and girl on fire has under her belt: Full time SAHM/Mindset Coach/ Contract Trial Paralegal/Commercial Fisherwoman/ OutDoorsy RV Renter.

Today's episode is a bit different! I have taught on authenticity a lot over the last several months and I wanted to be sure I could share this message with all of you, too.
Authenticity is so important in every aspect of life. The more authentic we become, the more we live in integrity, the more honest we are, and the more we ultimately get what is meant for us.
Take a listen and let me know if any of this resonates with you.

I have had the absolute pleasure of having some of the best mindset coaches to grace this podcast recently and I couldn't be happier to speak to these incredible women!
Today's guest is Jamie Lerner, well-being therapist. She has a unique view of her life experiences and says she's on her "third-life". We explore what that means and how each of our life experiences lead us to the next right thing for our lives.
Jamie Lerner, co-author of the book The Ever-Loving Essence of You, can put a fresh spin on just about anything that anyone throws her way. Her unique and masterful ability to re-frame even the most difficult situations is astounding. All of a sudden your biggest nightmare becomes your greatest pleasure as she lovingly helps you sift through the contrast and find that small opening of light that quickly becomes your greatest jumping off point for clarity. Unassuming, reassuring and seemingly without any sense of ego, Jamie Lerner is able to put everyone and everything at ease. Jamie Lerner is an asset to any corporate setting. She is easily able to untangle the issues at hand and move right along into helping facilitate a solution-based platform for creative, productive, good-feeling collaboration and change. Jamie Lerner can most often be seen working with individuals, children, adults and couples as well as with small groups. She never positions herself as the expert of anything and is always reminding you that it is you who knows best for yourself ALWAYS.
