  • Liverpool vs Newcastle Match Reaction | This is How it All Begins

    Send us Fan Mail

Liverpool FC’s Premier League season is officially underway, and Matchday 1 gave us plenty to talk about.

Stephanie, Annika, and Molly Anne break down Liverpool’s 2–2 draw away at Newcastle, from a physical and sometimes messy performance to the mentality that kept the Reds fighting until the end. We’re talking smart substitutions, Victor Muñoz winning the penalty, Dominik Szoboszlai stepping up to convert it, and what this first match tells us about the Liverpool team we might see this season.

Off the pitch, Liverpool have named Joe Gomez, Alisson Becker, and Dominik Szoboszlai as vice-captains. We discuss what we love about the choices, how they honor the leaders who have been part of this club for years, and what they might tell us about Liverpool’s future.

We also head Inside Training for some of our favorite moments (and an unlikely friendship we’re already invested in), talk coffee and style, and process the official news that Curtis Jones has left Liverpool for Inter.

Plus, Stephanie takes us inside OLSC Seattle’s packed first watch party at their new pub, we preview Liverpool vs. Nottingham Forest at Anfield, make our predictions, and choose our first Players of the Week: Florian Wirtz, Victor Muñoz, and Dominik Szoboszlai.

We’re recapping our World Cup summer, from matches in Seattle to watching across the UK, and why the post-tournament come-down somehow made us love football even more. Plus, we make our official predictions for Liverpool’s first league goal, captaincy, trophies, Champions League run and more.

  • Liverpool vs Chelsea Match Reaction | Do the Right-est Thing

    Send us Fan Mail

Molly Anne & Stephanie break down a game that started so well: Ryan Gravenberch's goal, Rio surprising everyone in the starting lineup, and goalkeeper Marmee returning to make crucial saves. But Liverpool, once again, couldn't hold on — and the atmosphere around the club is getting tense.

This week's big debate: fan booing. Is it ever acceptable to boo your own team at Anfield? Molly Anne and Stephanie argue supporters always have the right to their feelings — but booing actively hurts the team. Stay silent if you must, but back the Reds.

They also take a hard look at Arne Slot's tenure — the pressure of succeeding Klopp, whether the club has become too reliant on data and metrics at the expense of instinct, and the swirling Xabi Alonso speculation. Is any of it warranted, or are fans being too quick to turn?
