In this episode, Kiki & Ylva have the honor of interviewing Diana, front woman of the band ARTMS. Diana and her work can be found on Instagram: @a_rtm_s and Cash Appreciation can be sent via Venmo @ diana_ase

Diana is the frontwoman of the band artms (pronounced Artemis.) She is a writer of dreamscapes in song form, vocal alchemist, conduit for the ancestors through sound, and a student of angels.

In this conversation we talk about the ritual of becoming yourself through art and spiritual surrender. Diana also shares with us her experience as a Black Trans Woman in the music industry & how her exploration of music and magic brought her to her sacred self. Diana talks about drawing inspiration from the erotic expression of animalistic feminine sexual energy in her work & being queer for Marvel mutants; honorable mentions include Catra, Catwoman, Nomi Malone, Shakira, Sade, Janet Jackson, and Wonder Woman.

From Diana “my advice would be to trust your instincts, and ask for signs where they are needed from the universe.”
