Reading aloud the book/letter of 2 Peter. WEB version.

A popular phrase we all, christians or not, say when we have failed or fallen short of something is “I’M ONLY HUMAN” This is an innocent enough statement, but what does it really mean? What does the scripture say?

Always read and dwell on the word. The book of James was one of the first books I completed when I began to read the word for myself. Some believe this may be written after the gospels by the nature it begins.
Praise God for His word.

Jesus sat with sinners. This is true. But what does this mean? What was Jesus’ reason for being amongst sinners?
The truth is that He was still working to save.
What are we doing when we defend our places in the world by saying “well Jesus sat with sinners” ? Are we working to save? Or are we finding ourselves relishes in “old times”?

While we know that we have to deny ourselves, how many of us think about if we deny God? Not like an atheist or someone who is clearly at odds with our faith, but someone who’s lifestyle doesn’t align with Gods will. That’s denying? Let’s talk about it.

Jesus tells us to Deny ourselves to follow Him. What does this mean? Has this only been understood in a depressing manner?
I’m here to reveal the BLISS of what His intentions are of us when we deny ourselves. It’s not to focus on what we have to give up, but realizing what’s to gain! JESUS!

Starting up the Bible Audio, but this time we’re going to go to whatever we’ re studying and read that book. And go from there. Pray this is for someone who needed an audio for a Common English Bible version.
