Radiant One,
We are honoured to share this story with you. Almost completely unknown outside of Alaska and Canada, Sedna’s story will move you into the depths of love, beauty, tragedy, healing, and community.
Sedna begins her life with ease. This princess, daughter of a king, grows up to be remarkably beautiful, but has a hard time following traditions when looking for a suitable husband. One day, after many suitors have been dismissed, a man comes along, overflowing with adoration and empty promises. She falls for the manipulation and he takes her away to live on an island where the truth of who he is becomes apparent. Not only is she betrayed by this ‘man’, but also by her father during a rescue.
Sedna’s story doesn’t have a happy ending. There is no resurrection here, only the dark womb of the ocean and the deep wounding of broken trust. As Coral says of Sedna and how she reflects aspects of life’s difficult times, “Some wounds don’t close; they become portals of creation.”
In this episode we share:
🧜🏽♀️ Why some powerful journeys in life, like Sedna’s, don’t have a ‘happy’ ending
🧜🏽♀️ The symbolic story of Sedna falling to her depths & learning to breathe
🧜🏽♀️ How we often need to create our own integration, rather than finding closure
🧜🏽♀️ How Kris’ ancestors speak to her through this story and other related messages
🧜🏽♀️ Being conscious of old traditions and lineages, and making a heartfelt choice
🧜🏽♀️ Ways that the Inuits still connect with Sedna in their rituals
🧜🏽♀️ How Sedna calls us to live with a pure heart and high integrity
🧜🏽♀️ The power of ‘becoming’ who we are meant to be through tragedy
🧜🏽♀️ An invitation for navigating the energy of April
We hope you enjoy this episode and hopefully you can feel the story of Sedna moving you, opening your heart, soothing you from the inside out. She’s a powerful Goddess who is alive in so many traditions to this day, and we know from experience that she is communicating with us, too.
Thank you for being here.
Sending love,
♥️ Kris & Coral
