I address the role of the believer and the wider church, in helping the sexually broken to heal and be restored, both within the church and beyond. Stephen James Hart is the loveliest of souls. And I got to have a beautiful chat with him about finding restoration in Christ after experiencing sexual brokenness. In this powerful two part conversation, Stephen shares some of his very real, raw and beautiful journey of wrestling with same sex attractions as a Christian and navigating through an addition to porn since his teenage age years, to finding freedom, wholeness and restoration in the love of God and the acceptance of those around him. Stephen chats with me about some of the influences that impacted his sexual journey, his experiences growing up grappling with his sexual orientation and how the beautiful nearness of Jesus carried him the whole way through and continues to do so. 

After six years as Art Director at Bethel Church, Redding, where Stephen experienced life-changing healing and hope, he has recently moved home back to New Zealand. He is now serving as Creative & Communications team leader for a local church and he is passionately and purposefully pastoring creatives and helping them step into their truest identity.
